For Always Workshop G1060

I got my mojo back!!!! I decided to do one of the CTMH workshops that you know that I love! Here is the picture of everything that comes in this awesome kit!

I first decided to precut all of the paper. It makes it so much easier!

Slate CS

Whisper CS

Smokey Plum CS

Backside of floral paper

White Daisy CS

Floral Paper
I decided to start with stamping all the images.

This is the exclusive stamp set that comes with the kit C1547 For Always.

I did not have Whisper stamp pad so I used Grey Flannel

Stamped in Black

Top is stamped in Grey Flannel

Banner is stamped in Juniper

Center in Juniper

stamp over heart in black

They wanted stars stamped in Smokey Plum but I only had Pansy Purple

Lines stamped in Grey Flannel

Stamped in Black

Stamped in Juniper and cut out to put on the Black.

Cut and placed on the Black stamped image.
I then decided to do the card with all four papers on it. I used the corner rounder from CTMH to give the angles.

Added the ribbon that came with the set for a little dimension.

Little bit of the bling.

Close up!

Next is the Hooray card!

HAPPY SET!

You make 5 cards of each! So you make a total of 15 cards for a $20 kit!

Hope you enjoy them!!!!

So sorry!

I am so sorry I have not posted for the last few weeks. I started work early and then after working my tail off was released from my position for no reason. So I have been in a funk for these last two weeks. I have a bunch of new CTMH stuff from the new catalog and can not wait to play with it and show you!

Thank you for your understanding!

That Time of the Year!

First of all...I would like to say how sorry I am for not posting for a week. We start school here in one week and I work for the schools so I have been back at work. I decided to make something nice for the teachers from myself and my fellow office staff.

Everything is Close To My Heart :) I love when I can bust into my stash and not spend a penny! So I pulled out some 12x12" Colonial White Cardstock X5646. I cut it down to 3 qty strips of 4x12" and then cut those down to 4x6" and folded them in half.

I then used B1351 You're Sweet and stamped the center of the card with the apple in Z2127 Holiday Red and either side of it in Z2197 Pear.

The Stem is inked with Z2111 Chocolate.

Then I decided to add the leaf in just the center to pop the red apple a bit more with Z2155 Topiary.

I then took the Stamp Of The Month from the past S1211 Capture the Date and put our first day of school in Z2127 Holiday Red.

I just wanted to keep it a nice clean card since I was doing 24 of them and our staff is both male and female! So with the cuts you can make 6 cards out of 1 piece of 12x12" paper. Great for multiple cards to hand out :) I hope you enjoy this time of year as much as I do!

Bee Bee Baby Shower!

My sister in law Jen's friends are all getting married and having babies! Jenny Lynn finished with #3 and her friends are working on their #1! So it is fun to have babies born again. I have known the Soon to be Mom since she was about 14 years old. I was so happy to learn she was having a little one.

The sex of the baby was revealed at the shower. So everything was gender neutral. I decided to make her a hand made blanket in warm sage green that would work for either a boy or a girl. I roll them so you can see both sides of the blanket. I suggest for the no sew blankets for a crib size to make it a 1 yard. It is perfect size.

Tied off with a beautiful silk peach ribbon
Then I wanted to make a cute bee using the Cricut Birthday Bash.  I am sorry. I forgot to look at the dimensions that I used. The yellow of the Bumble Bee is Cordinations as well as the blue of the wings. The Black is CTMH as well as the bag is from Chantilly.

The Blue on the left is the backside traced with CTMH #Z2411 Pacifica Light. Loved the look when I flipped it over.

Hated the glitter pink pen on this. Ended up switching it up to a Copic pen in a lighter color. You will see on the end result.

The Honey Comb backround is with CTMH Honey Cardstock with Champagne ink over the embossing from the mini pigment pad sets from CTMH Item #Z2503. With the mini sets you get 10 qty pads in the sets for $19.95.

You can see I popped up the bee with Adhesive Springs that make them wobble! They are also CTMH Item #Z1725. You get 6 qty for $2.95. They are great cause they are tiny and not bulky like other ones on the market. No trimming necessary to try to get it to not be seen. Just peel and stick!

Glittered the words, boots and antenna.

Hope that Billie loves her Bee Bee Card!
