Be Grateful

I just love the fall. I live in the desert in California and our fall is literally 2 days. The leaves change color and then within two days the wind blows them right off! UGH! Due to this I am always grateful for when friends post their amazing fall pictures, especially my cousin Debbie!

So I am in the mood for fall after 3 months of 105*+ everyday. I signed up for a swap on Craft Therapy (a Facebook group). It had to be fall or Thanksgiving and must have purple in it. I knew which stamp to grab...I just love So Grateful B1395. It is beautiful and love the different layers.

I used Autumn Terracotta Z2101 for the pumpkin and the phrase. Smokey Plum Z2147 is the words over the pumpkin and the stem is Cocoa Z2114.

The leaves are stamped with Olive Z2137.
I mounted the images on a Smokey Plum cardstock that I distressed with black ink and used hand dyed (not by me) seam ribbon adhered to a creamy patterned paper that has some Autumn Terracotta and some Smokey Plum look to it. I know it is CTMH but I think it is from the paper pack Bliss. Do not quote me on that!

I hope you enjoyed this card as much as I did! Please leave a comment below. Your feedback and thoughts are well appreciated!

YEAH!!!! A Creative Journey with Melissa Release!!!!

I am so happy to announce that I was picked to be on the design team by Melissa. She is an amazing designer and her stamps are of great quality. I received the stamps that I am making projects for but they are to be released later in the year. The two she released touch my heart and are beautiful. I know we have all seen ribbon stamps but these are like non you have seen. The sayings are spot on and can be used for Military and Illness. Please check out her page at http://acreativejourneywithmelissa.com/ and let her know I sent you!

Miss Wicked Halloween

I love love love this stamp set S1108 Wicked. I stamped her in Black and spritzed her with my own mist concoction in Goldrush and Slate. I will give you the directions to make your own mists at the bottom.

Colored socks in with Smokey Plum and Goldrush

Took Goldrush cardstock and cut it to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" and inked the edges in Smokey Plum and Black. Cut the purple patterned paper from Paper Pack Moonlight to 3 3/4 x 5" and inked the edges in black. The lace is random black lace. The white Daisy cardstock with Wicked stamped on it is 3 x 4 1/2".

I decided to put her off center with the lace under her for texture and dimension.

Misters:

What you need:
1.Reinker of your choice (I prefer CTMH of course) $4.25
2. Create-a-Shade Pearl Paint Z1039 $2.95
3. Spray Pen Z1380 $3.95
4. Water

How to make the Mists...You need is to put 6-12 drops of reinker in the Spray Pen (number of drops on how strong of a color you want). One drop of Create-a-Shade Pearl Paint. Fill Spray Pen with water. Shake. Spray! That is it! Your $10.15 investment will make you hundreds of mists!!!! Just add more reinkers and Spray Pens to have them ready to go when you want them! No more $7-$10 bottles that when they are gone you need to buy a new one!

Frosted

Oh my gosh! I am in love with this kit! It uses second generation stamping!!! When I say second generation I mean that I ink it, stamp it on a scrap piece of paper and then on the project so you have a lighter effect of the image.

The first card Warm Wishes use a second-generation stamping on both the trees as well as the snowflake! With the trees I used the Close to My Heart Cocoa stamp ink Z2114 and the snowflake is with Twilight ink Z2160 and Warm Wishes was stamped in Cranberry.
 Card #1

Close Up with Bling!

Card #2

Close up with some Bling!

Card #3
Again the Twilight snow flakes are in 2nd generation stamping. The Holly Jolly is Cocoa

Here is a close up:

Bling is added to all of the cards as well as the bakers twine. I added nothing to this kit and have lots extras. The kit is still available to purchase and a great way of being creative without having to think about it!
