Here are a few preview samples of the release:

This was a card I created with Tie Dye and Splatter! Tomorrow's blog post will show you how I did it AND let you see my second creation I made with this set!

This one was created by Melissa. I think it is so amazing with the crackle effect. The hint of bling I think really elevates the card. BTW how simple would this be to create for a little boy's birthday or go with pastel for a little girl??? Add some stickles or crystals and you are set!

Here is another one created by Melissa! I think this card is so fun! The color combo is amazing! Great for, not only, your hippie friend but for a teen, or school colors for your child's teacher, graduation, birthday (OH PINK AND BLACK) and just plain old Thinking of you card to brighten someone's day! All you need is your favorite ink color and coordinating cardstock!

My question is "What is your go to embellishment that you can not live without?"
Post your comment below and Melissa will pull a random name!

Thank you for visiting and please be sure to hop along to all of the other amazingly talented design team members and comment on each blog answering their question correctly. Contest ends Friday at 8 PM. Winners will be announced on http://acreativejourneywithmelissa.blogspot.com/ Saturday.

Another Amazing Release from A Creative Journey with Melissa!!!!

So you all know how much I love A Creative Journey with Melissa! Melissa is so talented. I am so lucky and honored she has chosen me to be on her design team. She is so fashion forward and always one step ahead of the industry I think! This cycle I have I think a stamp a month for the next 5 months! Yeah me! So here is the first stamp it is called Tie Dye and Splatter!

The  rest are pictured at the bottom of the blog post.

There is a BLOG HOP. Click HERE to be able to have a chance to win one of FIVE projects!

So I was a dork when I first tried these...I was trying to fit the solid paint splatter in the tie dye splatter! DUH it does not work that way. LOL! Once I got that figured out I had a zillion projects going through my head!!! Paint splatter would be awesome for the update on my bathroom and the kitchen layout! Problem is the kitchen is not done yet. Darn husband! LOL! So I decided to create a project for my cheerleading daughter. She made cheer for her 4th year of high school. Last year her squad went to Nationals. Huge for them. They have never made it that far and we are a small high school. I am talking 600 kids. My senior class was bigger than her high school! So here is a great picture of Julia.

As you can tell her school starts with a "R" and their colors are red, white and black. So I took that and had lots of fun!

I received a bunch of great stuff from a friend. In there was a very thick cardboard letter "R". I immediately knew I wanted to do something with it for her. So I first took a 12 x 12 white daisy cardstock. and my red and black CTMH ink pads.

I then lined up the "R" to where I liked where it hit on the random stamped page. I then traced it with a large overlap and cut it out.

Now with this project Modge Podge is your best friend! You need to be very liberal with it when you apply it to your project with a foam brush. Then I sanded all of the edges to get the excess paper off. and applied more Modge Podge over the top of the paper to secure it. It also allowed my red letter cut outs to be applied with no adhesive other than covering it up over the top of those as well.

Here is my ending project to hang in her room!!!!

Now I did another project!!! Can you tell I was inspired?!?!?!?!

I added a trim around every paper with a freestyle hand drawn line. This paper is CTMH Lagoon.

Random paper with same black trim

Rectangle paper with snip to create the banner type look.

I stamp on foam. It creates a great clear stamp when I do. CTMH stamps all come with foam but if you do not have one handy you can use a mouse pad too. Always good when you are at crops cause those plastic tables give too much when you are trying to stamp.  Also always stamp standing up. You will thank me for this!

Ok this is the first time I stamped with this saying. Can you see how clear it is? You do not need to "season" the stamps from A Creative Journey with Melissa. They automatically stamp beautifully!

Here is a close up

Added the tiny splatter stamps to the banner tag.

I over inked my stamps to give it a bit of a crackle effect.

I cut out the edges. Took only a few minutes for both. I like the effect. Do you???

Final Project! Hope you like it! If you like what you see please go to A Creative Journey with Melissa and please let her know that Brandie sent you. I like to look good for my boss lady!
