ANOTHER RELEASE!!!

Oh the New Year has started out amazing! The new releases from www.acreativejourneywithmelissa.com has made my mind explode. They work for scrapbookers, Project Lifers, card makers, Smash Bookers, and mixed media artists.

The stamp set that I was honored in being able to create for is "I Just Love You". I could have done Valentines cards easily with this stamp set, but I wanted to do more. I love all people...no matter who they love. I hope not to offend anyone with my cards but I am offended I do not see more cards made this way. I have made wedding/anniversary cards for any marriage/wedding.

I used a random silver backing paper with Close To My Heart White Daisy cardstock. The ink is CTMH Black and Holiday Red. The bling is some I bought awhile ago and thought it was perfect for these simple cards. I was told another great wording would have been "love is love". How great would that have been too!?!?

For my son's layout "hero" the back round paper for this is "Appel de la Nature Jardin fleuri". The checkered paper is "Basic Grey Oh Baby! Boy Zachary". The ink for the outside of the arrows on the bottom is Close To My Heart Gold Rush. The inside of the arrow is CTMH Sunflower. The words are in the Gold Rush. The heart is Holiday Red as well as the  heartbeat. The heart is also colored in with Zig Wink Red. It shimmers and I love it! The "4" is by Queen Co Just Peachy.

So as you can see this stamp is sooooo versatile. Not just for valentine cards! My favorite things on this stamp is the way you can use the words for so many things. You can see in the stamp set it is "skip" but I have an "s" at the end. If you look closely you can see that free standing half an "s". You can use it to make the words plural like I did! I also enjoy the heart beat. There are so many ways you can use it. Words of encouragement, show of love, get better cards etc! Check out what Leticia did with the same set!

The next set she did is called A Date To Remember. It can be used for sooooo many applications. Rhoda used it for Smash Booking.  Sharon Meyer used it for scrapbooking but showed applications to use it for Project Life and mixed media uses.
